Our Story: Wayback When…
We’re Nate and Dan — neighborhood friends turned business partners who decided it was time to bring back customer service to an industry that’s forgotten it.
Wayback HVAC was born out of decades of friendship, local roots, and a shared frustration with the corporate takeover of heating and cooling. After years of working for private equity–owned giants, we knew the Gorge deserved better — local service, real relationships, and pricing that makes sense.

We’ve lived it. From high school dances as DJs (Double Impact, anyone?) to sports leagues and community events, this town is our home. When Nate moved back from Arizona and landed next door to Dan in Mosier, it all clicked — the engineer and the entrepreneur teaming up to build something real. Not just another HVAC company. A hometown hero kind of company.
